Vintage Glamour Wedding in Northwest Indiana

Their Story

My husband and I live in Dallas and planned our wedding over the course of a year. We were married in my hometown in Northwest Indiana (outside of Chicago, MCOL area) and about 60% of our guests traveled in. Our venue was the historic courthouse in my hometown's downtown square. The ceremony took place in the courtroom, with cocktail hour in the old Tax Assessor's room and reception in the ballroom. I'm a professional interior designer in the luxury hotel & restaurant space, so the decor (flowers) and vibe was something I splurged on because every small detail was important to me and making the day feel like "us." This also included customized details like our website, stationery, etc.
